COVID 19 SAFETY

VIGILANT IN OUR PROTECTION MEASURES

Safeguarding the health and safety of our clients and staff is paramount at Anowah.  We are closely monitoring and responding to all Ministry of Health/Health NSW advice and immediately implementing directives and taking every precaution to protect us all.

  • COVID 19 Safety Plans are in place for all outlets with Emergency Response strategies for individual clients
  • Clients are encouraged and supported to follow all COVID 19 safety protocols
  • QR check in at all Anowah outlets
  • Supply of all PPE – stock replenished regularly
  • Practice of safe social distancing
  • Mandatory wearing of masks for all staff and encouraging clients to do so where applicable
  • Regular hand washing and use of hand sanitizer
  • Daily temperature checks of staff and clients
  • Daily monitoring of any symptoms
  • We are pleased to say that all clients and staff have received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. We are now a fully vaccinated service.
  • No visitors are permitted to any of the Anowah outlets.
  • Essential workers only are authorized to enter properties, subject to complying with strict safety protocols.
  • All centre based activities have been suspended at this time. All of our clients are home based but are still actively engaging in programs and recreation and leisure options in their household settings with consistent staff support.
  • Clients are staying in touch and interacting with each other, staff and family members, via daily Zoom sessions
  • Anowah actively offers support to all staff and clients who may be experiencing hardship or a decline in mental health and wellbeing
